This walkthrough is set up to get you from the beginning of the game to the end of the game while spoiling as little of the plot as possible. There will be answers to riddles as well as boss strategies along the way, so certain elements will be spoiled if you're reading ahead of your game progress. I will NEVER mention, however, any events that take place in cut-scenes or scary surprises that pop up long the way. There are many cool things to be found through exploration, including incredibly creepy scenes and events. Most of these would be ruined if they were written in this walkthrough, so in the interest of preserving an exciting and interesting play through the game, I have left out a lot of things that you CAN do in the game. Note that everything you NEED to do is in here, but I highly recommend exploring and investigating beyond the scope of this document when you get the chance. __________________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------ WALKTHROUGH ------------------------------- __________________________________________________________________________ =========================================================== Amusement Park _____________________________________________ \____________________________ cut-scene You are in an amusement park. There is nothing to do here, really. The object is to die... seriously. If you're in Normal or Hard Action setting you can just purposely fall into one of the holes in the grating. If you're on Easy, leave the first area and let one of the monsters in the next area kill you. If you'd like to explore, feel free. After leaving the first area you will enter a circular walkway. You can enter a General Store along the way which has nothing in it. After the General Story you will come to another door which leads to another area with a staircase. At the top of the stairs are tracks for a roller-coaster. You can go through the gate and walk on the tracks to trigger a cut-scene. >>> NOTE: This sequence will only happen on your first play through >>> the game. __________________________________________________________________________ ============================================================ Shopping Mall _____________________________________________ \____________________________ cut-scene You're in a bathroom. Notice the red pattern on the mirror. Press the action button in front of it to save your game. You can knock on the bathroom door if you want. Jump out of the window. ______________________ / BONUS INFO \ |-----------------------\____________________________________________ | \ | If you are playing through after unlocking the UNLIMITED | | SUBMACHINE GUN you should turn to your left and go to the end of | | the alley. It will be sitting on top of a pile of crates. | |_____________________________________________________________________| Turn to your right and go down the alley 'til you come to a green door on your right. Enter it. You're now in the back hallways of the mall. You're only able to open on door in this hallway, so go to it (turn right, then right, then left) and go through it. Start to walk down this mall corridor and you will see a store on your left that has the lights on, the door cracked open slightly and the metal security gate only halfway down. Go through this door. cut-scene There are some handgun bullets on a bench in here. Grab them then go behind the counter and through the door. There is a bulletin board in this hallway with a SHOPPING MALL MAP on it. Just to the right of the map is a door marked "EXIT." Go through it. Head up the stairs and through the door. ______________________ / BONUS INFO \ |-----------------------\____________________________________________ | \ | If you are playing through after unlocking the BEAM SABER | | you should go to the end of the hallway and try to open the door. | | The weapon will be posing as a "weird doorknob." | |_____________________________________________________________________| There are 2 grey doors in this hallway that you can open. The one is a room with some Beef Jerky. The other has a save point, healing items, bullets and a pallet with a key underneath it. Investigate this key so that the room is marked on your map with a circle. Back in the hallway, find the beige door with the "NO Smoking" sign on it and go through. You're on a circular walkway of stores, but only one has an open door. It's "Helen's Bakery." Go through the door into the store. ______________________ / BONUS INFO \ |-----------------------\____________________________________________ | \ | If you are playing through after unlocking the FLAMETHROWER | | you should check the counter for this weapon. | |_____________________________________________________________________| On a tray just to your left as you enter the store is a pair of TONGS. Take them and go back to the room with the key under the pallet. Use the tongs to grab the KEY TAKEN WITH TONGS. Go back to the walkway where you entered Helen's Bakery and find the bookstore called "My Bestsellers. You will now be able to unlock the door and enter the store. It is always === === this number (i.e. it is not random like the other settings. === === === ========================================================================== ========================================================================== Now that you have your door code, go to the back of the room behind the counter and enter this code into the keypad. This will unlock the door, go through it. cut-scene Walk down the hallway a bit and find the elevator. Go inside. cut-scene Leave the elevator. cut-scene __________________________________________________________________________ ============================================== Shopping Mall (Other World) _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Look at your map. Go through the northwest most door in this hallway, out into the large hallway. Go through the doors on the opposite side of the hallway and to the left a little. In this room you will see a ladder coming out of the ceiling. Investigate it so that it is marked on your map with a circle. Leave the room back out to the big hallway. Look at your map. Follow the hallway around past the telephones, and then enter the door just before the bathrooms. Find the light switch in the room and turn it off. You should now be able to easily see the FLASHLIGHT, so grab it and leave the room. Turn left and enter the next door into the women's bathroom. Grab the BLEACH from the ledge and leave the room. >>> NOTE: If you're playing in easy mode, the bleach will not be >>> needed. Back in the hallway, go past the bathrooms to the crumpled up security gate at the end. Go through it. Find the store with the half down security gate and door slightly ajar and enter it. Grab the HANGER off of the clothes rack and the BULLET PROOF VEST from another rack. Now backtrack to the room with the ladder (marked with a circle on your map). Use the hanger to pull the ladder down. Go up the ladder. You should see escalators leading up and down as well as a television with no reception. If you walk just a bit past the television you will see a save point. The one leading down go nowhere, so go up the other ones. Straight ahead of you is a door with some text on it, a crescent moon and a small indentation. Investigate it and you will now have a crescent marker here on your map. Now turn around and face the escalators. Go through the gold double doors just to the left of them. A meal has been prepared and is on one of the tables. Investigate it to grab the COOKED KEY. Now head back out of the room and go down the escalator. You want to go through the door just to the left of the television. Unlock and go through the door on the other side of this room. Look at your map. There is a small corridor to the east. The door at the end is locked (make note of this door, as you will be returning to it shortly). There's only one other door you can go through here, in the south end of the hallway on the west side. Go through this door and grab the WALNUT from the display case. Now go back to the locked door I told you to take note of. You will unlock it with the cooked key and go through. As you make your way through the room you should notice a camera shift and some steam coming out of a wall when it does. Grab the STEEL PIPE from near the steam, and then go through the double doors on the other side of the room. You're now on a large circular walkway. Start walking to your right and enter the first doors you see on your right. Make your way through this room, grabbing the DETERGENT along the way, and then go through the green door on the other side. >>> NOTE: If you are playing in easy mode, you can skip the next >>> section and just enter the door to the left of the fan at the >>> end of the hall. The detergent will not be needed, also. >>> BEGIN SECTION TO SKIP <<< At the end of this hallway you will see a fan. Using the switch right next to it, turn it off. Now go through the door to the left of the fan. Standing in the center of the hall, go into your inventory. Combine the detergent and bleach and then select "Use." cut-scene >>> END SECTION TO SKIP <<< Turn the fan back on and enter the hall again. Look at your map. You need to go to the northeast corner of this hallway and go through the brown door there. There are two doors on the direct opposite side of the room from you that cannot be opened. If you continue east along this wall however, you will come to another set of double doors (rusted and white) that you can enter. In this room you will find a save point and a vise. Use the walnut you found earlier in the vise to get the MOONSTONE. Now leave the room. Turn to your right and walk to the brown door. Unlock it and go through. Use your map now to get back to the escalators, and then up to the door marked with the red crescent moon. Once back there, use the moonstone on the door to unlock it. Go through. Walk to the opposite side of this circular walkway and notice the camera shift. Get to the side of its head and fire off 4 shots. Do NOT stand directly in front of its head or it will take a big bite out of you. Wait for it to move back into an opening, then start running from side to side again. Continue straight ahead through this hallway and through the glass doors at the other end. cut-scene __________________________________________________________________________ ============================================ Subway Station / Subway Train _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Start walking through this hallway, and when the path splits, go to the right towards Concource. Go through the grey door. Continue ahead until the room opens up. Turn left and go over by the turnstyles. One of them will be open, so walk through it. Immediately past the corner of the ticket counter on your right is the subway map. Grab it. Now go to the east side of the room and down the stairs towards the North End and Powell Garden trains. Turn left at the bottom of the stairs. Go past the first left and then turn left through the open blue gate towards the North End train. Go to the other side of the room and down the stairs. Here you will find the NUTCRACKER lying atop a pile of rubbish. Grab it and go back up the flight of stairs, and then back up the other flight of stairs. Pass back through the open blue gate and walk straight to the other end of the hallway. There will be a closed blue gate on your right and on your left. Investigate the one on your left to find that it is only secured with a nut and bolt. Use your nutcracker on it to open the gate. Go through it and down the stairs. You can grab a SHOTGUN and SHOTGUN AMMO from the subway car just ahead. Now go back past the stairs you came down on and go down the stairs underneath them. Continue ahead and go past the first set of stairs. Go down the next set of stairs towards the Bergen Street train. Walk straight ahead to the end of the platform and notice the camera shift. You can see a door with a red light over it down by the side of the subway tracks. Jump down and try to open the door. It can't be opened, so jump back up onto the platform. Follow along the platform to the gate marked "Concource." Unlock it and go through. Continue along the platform and go up the stairs. Walk straight ahead and down the stairs on the other side. Walk straight ahead and enter the subway car that has an open door. cut-scene Believe it or not, you can't just take a seat and ride the train to its next stop. You'll need to make your way to the other end of the train, fighting enemies and picking up items along the way. cut-scene __________________________________________________________________________ ================================================================ Underpass _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Exit the train through the open door. Follow the platform to a door and go through it. Go down the stairs and turn right. Go through the door with the light above it at the end. Turn left and just ahead on the right you will see a blue door. Go through it. Continue ahead and go through another blue door on your right. Just ahead you will see a path split to the left. Turn left and go down it and through the door at the end. Grab the UNDERPASS MAP from the wall and the MAUL right next to it. Exit this room through the south door. Continue ahead ignoring the path to the left for now. Go through the blue door when it comes up on your right. Grab the WINE BOTTLE from the pile of rubbish at the end of the hall, and then turn around and exit the hall. Turn left and walk ahead a little, turning right when you get to the path we just ignored previously. Go through the large white door with the light above it. Continue ahead and go through the blue door on your left. Go all the way to the other end of this narrow hallway and through the blue door. Turn right and go down the hallway, turning right again when you have to, and then go through the large white door with the light over it. There will be two paths off to the right as you go down this hallway. Ignore the first one and go down the second, going through the blue door at the end. Among other things (items, save point) there is a kerosene heater in this room. Use the wine bottle on it to get the OIL-FILLED BOTTLE. Leave the room and continue ahead, turning left and then left again down the path we ignored previously. Go through the blue door at the end. Find the fuel tank in this room and use the oil-filled bottle on it. Now go over to the hoist on/off switch and turn it on. cut-scene Now find the ladder and go down into the sewers. Go up two sets of stairs and then through the blue door. Go across the bridge, down some stairs and then through another door. Turn right and continue along this walkway until you come to another blue door. Go through it, and then up the stairs, across the bridge and through (yes, another) blue door. Grab the DRYER from a chair in this room. Now exit the room, go back across the bridge, down the stairs and back through the door. Directly opposite from you is a large white door. Go through it. Continue ahead, turn left and then go through the blue door on your right. There is a save point in this room, and I suggest you use it. Go through the door and STOP! Turn left and find the electrical outlet on the wall. Use the dryer here. cut-scene Start crossing the bridge and stop halfway across. Turn to either side and press the action button. Choose "Yes" to drop your steel pipe into the pool. You will be presented with a mini-riddle of sorts. Go across the bridge now and go through the exit door. Walk to the other end of the hall and through the blue door. Jump across to the other side of the walkway and just a little to the left. Go down this path to find a hallway to the right. Go through this hallway and through the blue door at the end. Go to the other end of this hallway and through another blue door. Go up the stairs and then up the ladder. Follow the path around 'til you come to an area with a save point and a door. Go through the door. __________________________________________________________________________ =========================================================== Hilltop Center _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Go through the hallway and through the blue door at the other end. Go all the way up to the 5th floor and through the door. Go through the green door at the end of the hallway. If you hug the wall on your right as you walk into the room, you should notice a camera shift. Investigate the wall here to reveal that you can break it. Use any weapon to hit it repeatedly. Pick up the SILENCER from the floor. Now turn around and drop the matress through the hole in the floor. Jump down through the hole now. cut-scene Walk straight ahead and through the hole in the wall. Walk around the scoffolding until you see a camera shift showing an open window in the adjacent building. Go through the window. Exit the room through the door. At the other end of this hallway is a room with some items in it. On the way there, you will notice a door with some purple text on it reading "Store Front Poseables." Go through this door. Walk straight ahead and through the door marked "Monica's Dance Studio." Go through the door in front of you, just slightly to your right. Grab the OFFICE BUILDING MAP from the table. There is also a save point in this room and a desk with a rusted drawer. Investigate the drawer to get it marked on your map (you'll be returning here.) Leave the room and go back through the dance studio door. Find the elevator door in this area that is slightly opened. Investigate it to get it marked on your map (you'll be returning here, also). Now find the door with the red exit sign above it and go through it. >>> NOTE: In easy mode, the drawer will already be open, so just >>> take the ROPE from inside it and continue. Go up 4 flights of stairs and through the door onto the 5th floor. Find the door marked "KMN Auto Parts" and go through it. Continue along through this hallway to find another door marked "KMN Auto Parts." Directly opposite from this door is another door. Go through it. Find the JACK in this room on a shelf and grab it. Leave the room and go through the auto parts door in front of you. Now find the door (straight ahead on your left) with a sign above it reading "Gallery Of Fine Arts." Go through this door, and then through the unlocked door in the back corner of the room. Turn left and walk ahead to grab the SCREWDRIVER from atop a box. You may also want to find the unlocked door at the other end of this hall. It leads to a room with the KATANA in it. >>> NOTE: If you're playing in easy mode, you can skip this >>> section and go right to the elevator with the slightly opened >>> doors. >>> BEGIN SECTION TO SKIP <<< Now return to the 3rd floor and go back to the room with the rusted drawer. Use the screwdriver on it. cut-scene Take the ROPE from the drawer. Now go back to the elevator with the slightly opened doors. >>> END SECTION TO SKIP <<< Use the jack on the doors, and then the rope. Go down the rope. There is a save point in this hallway on a soda machine. Find the door marked "ECHO" and go through it. Go through the wooden door in this room. Now go to the other side of this room and through the light green door. Investigate the bathtub in this room. cut-scene __________________________________________________________________________ ============================================= Hilltop Center (Other World) _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Leave this room. Turn left and go through the door in front of you. Turn left and go through another door here. There is a save point in this hallway. Go to the end of the hallway and go through the door. cut-scene Now in a new room, grab the OXYDOL (among other items) from the shelves to your left. Unlock and exit through the other door. Turn left and exit the room through the door next to the potted plant. Find the working elevator in this hallway and get in it. Go to the 1st floor. Walk to your right to find a strange creature blocking your exit. Now turn around and walk to 'til the hallway splits. Turn left and then go through the first door on your left. Find the mini-refridgerator in this room and grab the PORK LIVER from it. Leave the room and get back on the elevator. Go up to the 5th floor. Find the door with the blue light above it and go through. Turn left and walk 'til the path splits. Turn right and go through the door straight ahead. Grab the MATCHBOOK from off of the table and exit the room. Now walk straight ahead through the hallway, turning left at the strange pane of glass along the way. Go through the door with the blue light above. Go through the double doors in front of you. Find the painting with the bucket beneath it. Combine the Oxydol, pork liver and matchbook and use it on the bucket. cut-scene Go through the now visible door. Go down the stairs and through the door. Go to the other end of the hallway, past the door with the blue light above it, past the gated area, and through the door at the other end. Again, go the the other end of the hallway and through the door. Grab the SILVER COIN from the desk on your right. Now find the vending machine and use the silver coin in it. cut-scene Take the LIFE INSURANCE KEY. Leave this room. Unlock and go through the door with the blue light above it. Get on the elevator and go to the 1st floor. Use the life insurance key to go through the locked door. Turn left and head down this hallway, entering the last door on your left. Find the fairy tale in this room and read it. cut-scene Backtrack to where the hallway with the elevators. Walk past where the monster used to be and go through the grey doors. __________________________________________________________________________ =================================================== Daisy Villa Apartments _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Turn left and walk along the sidewalk until a path comes up on your left. Follow this path around to find a door to your apartment building. Enter the door. There is a save point in this hallway. Find the door marked "102" (there is a camera shift when you walk by it). Unlock the door and go through. cut-scene >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BOSS BATTLE: Missionary >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This battle can be done without losing any health or using any ammo. First thing you need to do is make sure that you don't have your bullet proof vest equipped and that your flashlight is turned off. It won't be able to make running attacks at you with the flashlight off, and you'll be able to move much faster without the vest on. So now that you're prepared, get some distance between you and the boss. Turn and face it and move the camera so that you can see it coming. As it starts moving towards you, run just past it on the right or left, so that your shoulder just misses hitting it. As soon as you get by it, turn and hit it with your weapon of choice. While it's on the ground, do not attack it. Simply get some distance and let it stand up, then repeat the process. Eventually it won't get up. Just go over to it and kick it or hit it with a weapon to finish it off. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> cut-scene Back in control of Heather, leave the room you're in. Walk straight ahead and go through the door into Heather's room. There is a STUN GUN and STUN GUN BATTERY in the dresser drawer. Leave the apartment and then leave the apartment building via the front door (next to the save point). cut-scene __________________________________________________________________________ =================================================== Silent Hill / Hospital _____________________________________________ \____________________________ There is a save point in the room. Leave the room and head to the Brookhaven Hospital. You may want to stop in to Heaven's Night on the way, as there are a few items in there. After entering the hospital, look just a little to your right and you should see a door in front of you. Go through it. Grab the HOSPITAL MAP from the table and use the save point if you need to. Exit back into the main hallway. Look at the map. Find the elevator (marked with an "E") and head over to it. Go up to the 2nd floor. Find the "Woman's locker room" on your map and go there. Grab the NAIL POLISH REMOVER and PERFUME from the locker. Leave the room and head over to the door that leads to all of the "M" rooms. There is a riddle here, so if you want to solve it yourself, ignore the following section. ========================================================================== ========================================================================== === SOLUTION TO HOSPITAL 2F PUZZLE === === === === EASY RIDDLE SETTING: Enter the following code into the keypad === === next to the door, 4, 6, 3, 9. === === === === ------------------------------------------------------------------ === === === === NORMAL RIDDLE SETTING: Enter the following code into the keypad === === next to the door, 8, 6, 3, 4. === === === === ------------------------------------------------------------------ === === === === HARD RIDDLE SETTING: Enter the following code into the keypad === === next to the door, 4, 8, 9, 6. === === === ========================================================================== ========================================================================== Enter the correct code into the door keypad to unlock it. Go through the door. Head into room M4. Go over to the alarm clock and turn it off. Make a note of the time, then go over to the attache case on the bed. The time that the alarm clock was at is the code to unlock the case. It is random, so I can't give you the answer. Enter the correct code into the case lock and open it. Take the INSTANT CAMERA from inside. Go back to the elevator and ride it down to the 1st floor. Head over to room C4 and find the wall with stuff pasted to it. Use the nail polish remover to get the STAIRWELL KEY. Now go unlock the door to the stairwell (right next to the Visiting room). Go down to the basement. Go through the first door on your right after the wheelchair. Find where the blood is spattered on the wall near the shelves. Use your instant camera to take a picture of a door code. Note the code that you get. Since this number is random, I can not give you the answer. Exit to the hallway and grab the submachine gun. Go up the stairs all the way to 3F and go through the door. There is a save point in the Store room on this floor, if you need one. Go over to the door that leads to the "S" rooms. Enter the code you just got in the picture into the keypad to unlock the door. Go through. Head over to room S12 and answer the phone when it rings. cut-scene Head to the M-wing on the 2nd floor. Go all the way to the east end and go through the door marked with just an "M". You'll now be in a hallway with a series of gates that are lowered or raised as you come across them. Keep moving through the hallway until you come to a door. Go through it. You'll now be in another hallway with gates that are raised and lowered. Keep moving around checking all of the gates until one is raised. Go through here to find another door and go through it. Continue along through this hallway until you are trapped between several gates. Investigate the red mark on the wall. cut-scene __________________________________________________________________________ =================================================== Hospital (Other World) _____________________________________________ \____________________________ Walk to the end of the hall and through the door. There is a save point in room S3 if you need it. Go into Examining room 4 and investigate the bucket. It will now be noted on your map with a circle. Leave the room, turn left and go through the double doors at the end of the hall. Make your way across this room and go through the double doors on the other side. Get on the elevator and go to B3. Get back in the elevator and ride it up to the 2nd floor. Go into the Woman's locker room and take the PLASTIC BAG from the trash bin. Hop back in the elevator and ride it up to the 3rd floor. Go back to the room with the blood filled bucket (marked with a circle on your map) and use the plastic bag to get the PLASTIC BAG (WITH BLOOD. Get back in the elevator and ride it down to the 1st floor. There's a save point in the Examination room on this floor, if you need it. Use the cremated key to get into the Day room. Go through the door on the other side. Head into room C4. Make sure that you have the perfume equipped. If you have some shotgun ammo, equip that. Shoot him right away and knock him down. He'll swim around for a bit and pop back up. Shoot him again when he does this. If he lays on the ground flailing a bit, shoot him while he's down. Keep doing this until he's dead. You will see the camera shift, showing you a door. Go through it. Turn right and start moving along the walkway. You will come to the Lakeside Amusement Park Souvenier Store on your right. Go inside. There are various items in the store, so run around and get them all. In the back corner of the store, near the register counter, you will find a save point and the ROLLER COASTER KEY in a tin box. Take it and leave the store. Continue moving along the walkway until you notice a camera shift. Go through the door here marked with a 'Mountain Coaster' sign next to it. Walk straight across and through the gate on the other side. Turn left in this area and walk ahead to find stairs. Go up the stairs to the coaster platform. Enter the control room and turn the coaster off. Now go through the gate onto the tracks and walk along the tracks for a bit. cut-scene Find the wooden door in this area and go through it. Walk along the path and go past a save point (I suggest you use it). Enter the Borley Haunted Mansion. Just walk through the door in front of you. Walk to the other side of the room and go through the door. There are two doors in this room. The first one you come to is locked. Go to the other one and try to open it. The other door will now be unlocked, so go through it. In this room you can just run through it on easy or normal mode. If you're playing through on hard, you need to walk through while crouching (hold down the button to ready your weapon). Go through the exit door on the other side. You'll now need to pass through two hallways while a red light chases you. If this light catches up to you, it will kill you very quickly. Both of these hallways are set up in the same pattern. ______ _______ EXIT <--- | | <--- ENTER ___ | | ___ | | | | | |______ ____| | | | | | |___ _| | ____| | | | | | |______| | | | |______________| Study the pattern so you know which direction you need to turn at each corner. It should be simple to navigate if you know which way to turn. After going through the two hallways, you'll be back outside. Move to the back corner of this area to find a narrow path. Go through it. Walk straight ahead, turn left and go through the gate. Walk straight ahead and go through another gate to the Stage area. Go up on the stage and grab the RED SHOE. Now search the bleacher seats around the stage and fine the CHAIN. Exit the stage area the same way you came in. Go back through the next area, as well. Walk straight ahead and a bit to the left and you will come to an area with a rusted green gate on your left and a ride on your right. Use the chain to attach it to the rusted gate. Now go up onto the ride and use the chain again to attach it to the handle on the center of the ride. Get down off of the ride and turn left at the bottom of the stairs. Go into the control room and start up the ride. cut-scene Go through the now open green gate. cut-scene Walk straight ahead and go through the green gate in front of you. Enter the Fortune House to your right and grab the DOLL HEAD from the table. Exit, turn right and go through the wooden door. Just up ahead is a small puzzle. Move ahead a little and go through the green door on your left. Find the gate in this area and go through. Up ahead is a merry-go-round. They're always fun, so hop on. Okay, this one isn't so much fun. Soon after you board it, it starts moving. If you find the horse with a letter "attached" to it, you can get a clue as to what you need to do. Simply go around "killing" the horses that are moving. When all of them have stopped moving up and down, you'll hear a release mechanism activate and they'll start moving again. cut-scene >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BOSS BATTLE: Memory Of Alessa >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> You'll need to fight this boss the same way you did Missionary. It's a bit harder than that battle since there is no wide open space here. There are several spots on the merry-go-round, however, that offer you a bit of open space and a good view of the surrounding area (so you can see the boss coming at you). So find one of these spots and set up shop. Wait for the boss to start moving towards you and then run by its side, just missing it. It should attack and miss you, and then you can immediately turn and hit it with your weapon of choice. The boss also has several forms, so once you knock it down and it disintegrates, it will respawn elsewhere with a new weapon and come back after you. Several of the boss' forms have projectile weapons. When fighting those forms, you'll need to be more proactive. Meaning, you can't just wait for the boss to attack you, since it will stand far away and shoot you repeatedly. So go after her, running by her side and she will use the weapon as a melee weapon rather than shooting it. Get off of the merry-go-round and head down the icky-sticky hallway, going through the door at the other end. Continue down the path and go through the door. __________________________________________________________________________ =================================================================== Church _____________________________________________ \____________________________ cut-scene There is a save point at the alter, and right behind it is the "EYE OF NIGHT" TAROT CARD. Grab it and go through the door to your right. On the wall to your right is the CHURCH MAP. Grab it and head to the other end of this hallway. There are two doors here. One is locked (make a note of it, as you'll be returning here later) and the other is open. Go through the open door. Go through the other door in this room. Walk up ahead to where the path splits and you will see three doors. The center one can't be opened, so go in the door to your left (there are items in the room to the right, if you want to get them). Start walking down this hallway and you'll hear a woman crying. If you stand near the painting you will see bloody footprints appear on the floor, as if a ghost is walking through the room. They disappear behind the painting, so investigate the painting to reveal a wooden door. Go through it. Go through the door at the other end of the hall. Take note of the cage elevator in this room. Go past it along the walkway to the last door and go through it. There are books in this room you can read, but the object that you're looking for is the "MOON" TAROT CARD on the desk in the back. cut-scene Exit the room the same way you came in. Get on the cage elevator and ride it down. Go through the door in front of you and a little to the right. Walk straight ahead and through the door at the other end of this hall. Grab the "HANGED MAN" TAROT CARD off of the gurney and leave the room. Now go back to the room with the caged elevator. Walk along the path past the elevator and enter the second to last door. Walk along the path to the right and enter the last door. Enter the first door on your left. Go through the door on the other side of this room. Start walking down this hallway and you'll notice a familiar sound... that woman ghost crying. Follow her footprints again and they will disappear behind a wall. Investigate this wall. cut-scene Go through the opening and through the door here. Investigate the book on the chair to receive the "FOOL" TAROT CARD. Exit this room, and then exit the hallway the same way you came in. Go through this room again back the way you came. Turn left and go to the end of this hallway and through the door. There is a save point in here if you need it. Grab the BRASS KEY off of the wall just to the right of the save point. There is also a puzzle on the door in this room, but you still need one more tarot card to solve it. You'll go get that now and then you'll be returning here. Remember the locked door I told you to note earlier? Go back up the caged elevator and go to that door. Unlock it and go through. There are a bunch of rooms that you can enter here, but the one you need to get to is at the very end of the hallway on your right. In here you need to grab the "HIGH PRIESTESS" TAROT CARD. You now need to return to the room with the tarot card door puzzle. You may want to save your game at this point, and then go through the door. Walk to the end of this hallway and through the double doors. cut-scene Go into your inventory and use your Pendant. cut-scene Jump down through the hole in the floor. cut-scene >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BOSS BATTLE: The god >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This is actually a pretty easy boss battle, on any difficulty setting. It starts off in a standing position. If you move to the back of the room, as far away as possible and just wait, it will eventually drop its head down. When it does this, you can run up and hit it with a melee weapon or sit back and shoot it. Eventually it will start throwing fire at you from either side. The flames will come across the room in a semi-circle until it lines up with you and then it will go in a straight line to where you're standing. All you need to do is use the side-step buttons when the fire gets in front of you and it will go right past you. After a few fire attacks, it will lower its head again and you can go in for another attack. Keep in mind that after a few successful attacks from close range with a melee weapon, it will swipe at you with it's hand. So get a few attacks in (about 3) and then run away, if you're using a melee weapon. Please note that this isn't the quickest way to defeat this boss, but it is definately the easiest and safest. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> After the boss is defeated there will be several cut-scenes that will differ depending on the ending you've earned.
