Your schoolyard rival, Whisper has shown up and wants to pick a fight. You must hit her with a standard attack to boost your weapon, then launch an unblockable flourish attack (press the B button). You can continually use the flourish attack just as she gets up for an easy victory. -- cut-scene --

Now you can go behind the barn you were guarding to find a chest with a Jet crystal inside. Take it, then teleport back to the Heroe's Guild.
